EFL provides financial support to families struggling through a pediatric cancer diagnosis

  • Our story began with Kim Hill, a vibrant 3-year-old little girl fighting leukemia in the early 1970s, and her family’s desire to pay forward the kindness and support they received during her journey. Fast forward 40 years, Eagles Fly for Leukemia (EFL) has helped families pay non-medical expenses related to caring for a child with cancer, such as mortgages, utilities, and hospital transportation. We have donated more than $12 million to support leukemia and other pediatric cancer research at renowned children’s hospitals in Philadelphia and Delaware and provide resources to Ronald McDonald Houses in Philadelphia and southern New Jersey.
